We got to see some cool stuff!
We saw a Horned Toad Lizard which we got VERY CLOSE too! I tried to catch it without succeeding. We watched him for awhile and the kids really enjoyed that! Gabriel said later in the adventure "I love God's creation of lizards!" I like that he recognizes them for what they are a small part of God's magnificent creation!!
We ran into several regular lizards one which surprisingly let us get extremely close. Usually the regular lizards are more scampery!
We also saw an unique round beetle with lots of little red bugs around it -maybe velvet mites?
Ross got a big kick out of a bird we saw on the rocks.
We also think we may have seen a snake track. It sure looked like one to me!
