Week at a glance

Tuesday, I got a direct answer to prayer. The Lord answered my prayer above and beyond what I even asked for. God is so good. Thank you Lord.

Wednesday, I took the boys to get their hair cut. The lady knows we are military and she said to Gabriel "We don't have to like the war but be need to support our troops right Gabriel?" What a weird thing to say to a 5 year old. Anyway, I can't remember if Gabriel told her at this point or told her after this. "My daddy helps (he knows daddy helps the good guys to bomb the bad guys!) the good guys bomb the bad guys!". He was proud of that! Later on Gabriel heard me telling Brian this story and Gabriel said "I like telling that!". He is PROUD of his Daddy and what he does. I did tell the lady that we like the war and that we need to be there. I said we shouldn't go looking for war but like I said we need to be there. I basically told her my husband is away from us so people can have those feelings concerning the war. That was the end of the conversation for her.

End of the week Babe was having a lot of trouble on the ship. One of his workers did things wrong to say the least. We already prayed very faithful for him but we need to be praying that those under him do their work accurately too. Again, I say God is so good.

I love the pictures! Thanks so much for sharing, Abigail! I'm so glad you all had a great time with Brian being home and that he was able to make it safely back. Your stories keep me in stitches, reading about the kids, and also warms my heart. I'm going to have to check your blog at lunchtime every day while at work to help better my mood! :) Glad to see your dad's enjoying himself on his trip, too (if he sees my dad in Egypt, tell him to say 'hello'!) :) Take care, enjoy your week!
