Great Monday

Had a good day today. Annalina and I had school even though she informed me that it was time for "Honours'" bath. I said it was time for school! She actually does enjoy school and likes to do her Paces which are the workbooks. She wanted to do more today!
We got 2 boxes in the mail from my dad. He bought the kids different souveneers from the different countries he went too! They were GREAT gifts. Perfectly picked out! Annalina got a pair of GOLD sandels from India. They fit PERFECTLY and they are beautiful! She got the stackable Pandas (wood where one fits inside the other), a jade tiger from China, bangle braclet from India I think, paper money from one country. She was wearing her gold sandals and loved the pandas. Ross got a stuffed panda bear that when you squeeze it it says "I love you". He really likes the bear but doesn't like it to talk (he also got a jade tiger)! Gabriel got an AMAZINGLY carved elephant with the baby still in the mother elephant all carved from one piece of wood! Amazing how they could do that! He also got $ and a tea towel. Also a decorative item that is wind up and made of wood. I will open and see more of that tomorrow with the kids!
Dad called before the kids went to bed and talked to them about their gifts and had a LONG conversation with Gabriel about seeds! The 2 of them were also being silly and saying silly things. Gabriel had quite a good laugh!
After the kids went to bed I had a great night of phone conversations. Bobby called. She is going to come tomorrow night and help me with the sprinklers. We got to yakking and yakking and had lots of fun talking about family and ourselves. She is a HOOT and so is her husband! I just love them. I had a great time talking with Babe. He is working on finding stuff to study Norwegian. It is difficult to find stuff. He is hoping for a call from a Norwegian lady that works at the Defense Language Institute in Monterrey. My father-in-law left a message on my answering machine saying that he was mentaly retarded, etc. so out of pity I called him. We had a great time being critical of political figures and talked of our future adventures. Me climbing Long's Peak and him going rattle snake looking to take pictures of live rattle snakes. I told him he'll have to send pictures to Gabriel if he gets some.

I'll put some pictures from today on here later. I am having a lot of trouble with transferring my photos to the computer lately! This picture of Ross with Sonya was taken just a few days ago.
