Uncle Kevin, Aunt Kim, Cousins K and K Come to Visit

K rode the sky ride with Carson, Jedidiah, and I! Yikes, it was definitely
a SKY ride!!!!
Babe, Ross, and K with Colorado Springs in the background!
Kevin and Kim coming up. Kim enjoyed the ride down better than the ride up!
The kids enjoyed the playground at the top.
K helping Carson on the jungle gym.

 Carson feeding a giraffe.
Cousin K helping Jedidiah to feed the giraffe.
Jedidiah LOVED LOVED the giraffe.
Actually, he got a big kick out of the whole zoo!

Gabriel and Annalina weren't home yet from Grandma and Grandpa J's
when we decided to go to the zoo.

It down poured while we were at the zoo but at least it kept things cool!
We had a great time watching 2 grizzly bears fight! One even got cranky and went after the window where Ross and Cousin K were standing and slammed into the glass. We also got to see a huge orangatan that seemed to love the kids! We had a great time. It is probably one of the best zoo's I have been to.

Cousin K petting a bearded dragon.

We took them to 11 Mile Canyon too but Uncle Kevin was able to supervise
a hike and the kids really enjoyed that!

Jedidiah at the bike park. He cheered for the kids and just had a great
time running around and watching.
Annalina was glad to have her new/used bigger bike!
 Rossers
 Cousin K
Carson had a great time. I wasn't sure how he'd do.
He can't ride like the big kids but he had a great time doing
what he could!!

The kids LOVED LOVED this activity!!!
Bike park was a big hit.
The water balloon fight was a riot to watch!!!
Again a GREAT time!
 Uhhh, Ohhhh!
 Girls against boys!

 Nice throw cousin K!

Miniature golfing was great and the kids finished
just as it started to downpour rain!!!!
The reason for this picture was because my sister in law and my oldest niece (Gabriel helped some too) helped me reorganize our library. That sounds easy but when we started the floor was so covered you could not walk in there AND we color coded the books with stickers. I wouldn't let the kids reshelf books because I wanted to know where they were and with the pregnancy things got out of hand! Now the books are color coded (my mom's idea!) so that the kids can reshelve them on their own!  My niece said we should have taken a picture before we started!! She is right it was HORRIBLE and took MANY hours of work!! That project had weighed on me for a long time and I didn't know how I was going to get it done. Thankful for their help immensely!

Kevin, Brian's brother, repaired a door that had basically broken in two in our house! Now you would NEVER know. He cemented a portion under our front porch that was not done correctly and the stair was starting to give way and he taught Brian and Gabriel how to change the oil in the van and bought Babe the needed supplies for it!
Annalina giving Cousin K a last hug before they left.
The kids had a great time with Cousin K.

Cousin K spent A LOT of time on our back porch ridding
our yard of Prairie Dogs. She came up to the window one morning
and had 2 Prairie Dogs to display. The Prairie Dogs seemed to have
already killed at least one of our trees. One day K got a rabbit and one
evening Uncle K shot a coyote!! Unfortunately, it got away though.

Great Uncle Orin Visits

Great Uncle Orin came in June for a week visit. He AMAZES me. He and his wife have never had children and he shows such patience and love to the kids. His love for his great nephews and niece is
so obvious and we appreciate it. He was a blessing. He was here during Babe's surgery which wasn't even planned but God had it planned. He followed kids around, sat and talked to Babe as he recovered, and after Gabriel and Annalina left for Grandma and Grandpa's house he remembered our trash day and took out the trash. Babe really enjoyed catching up with his uncle and got some good laughs. The kids really enjoyed hearing family history which was mixed with humour!!!

On the day of Babe's surgery we got the call that he was out of surgery as we were eating and Orin went down stairs to get ready by the time he got back up we were just about situated to leave and he was amazed at "how fast we can deploy." Pretty funny, we've had alot of practice!
Above: Coming back from time at the park.
Uncle Orin is an early riser and Carson would be up with him in the morning jumping on the couch and being silly. They had a great time.
We took Orin to some old mining towns near our house.

The kids loved being silly in Victor which Gabriel
refers to as a dump. Pretty close to correct!

The kids had to act out getting dumped out. The kids went with Uncle Orin to see a old mine and Babe and I stayed back at the van not being up to it! The kids had a great time!

 Jedidiah at 11 Mile Canyon
We took Uncle Orin to 11 Mile Canyon. One of our favorite places.
Again I was so impressed with him as he so calmly rode in our 15 passenger van with ME
driving!!!!! He didn't wince or show any distress at the narrow curvy roads!!!

 My smallest Cutie!!!
Contemplating happy thoughts!!

Jedidiah loves to sit in the drivers seat!!
The kids LOVE LOVE exploring here!
Far away picture of the kids exploring at 11 Mile Canyon.
None of us adults were in condition to follow them so
the rule was they had to stay within distance of my voice!
They did a great job.
Close up of the kids exploring!
They had a blast.
