"Strangely Comfortable"

Last night we let the 3 older kids stay up and watch "Black Beauty" while sitting on their bean bags. Well, the movie got over late and all the kids were at their end. Gabriel was fighting back tears that he was going to have a night of nightmares because of the movie (Gabriel has a very sensitive heart toward cruelty).

First thing this morning Gabriel comes and says "Mommy, I prayed to Jesus this morning and thanked Him. I didn't have any bad dreams last night. I didn't even have any dreams, I felt strangely comfortable!"

I'm glad he remembered to thank the giver of peace.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Poor Gabriel, what a beautifully empathetic heart he has.
I vehemently dislike Black Beauty!
A good horse movie is The Rogue Stallion. Although it deals with a mom and her two kids trying to make a new life after their dad dies. There is a little mouthing off on the kids part but all in all its the best horse movie I've ever seen.
I too feel that Strange Comfort these days. The LORD's ways are mysterious but oh, so good!
