In Monterey they have great opportunities for families and one of them is free guided hikes of places in the area. Daddy and Gabriel went on the "Fabulous Ferns Hike" and Gabriel LOVED it. Babe called me and said Gabriel had made a new friend . . . the docent of the hike and Gabriel got along fabulously. The docent and Gabriel got to indentifying plants and on the way back on the hike he asked Gabriel to count all the plants and flowers that they had identified. At the end of the hike he told the rest of the people on the hike that the hike was done but that he and Gabriel were going on to identify more. They ended up identifying 61 plants!! What a super time for Gabriel he loves plants.
