Misc. Aquarium Pictures

Pictures of Carson at the Monterey Bay Aquarium--March 19th

Carson really enjoyed this break out of the stroller. It was a great place to let him down to explore! Carson is just days shy of 11 months old in these pictures.

Monterey Bay Aquarium--March 19th

This was a school field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The kids loved it and were so excited! We ended up buying season tickets so now we can go anytime. It will be fun to go to the flamingo exhibit in April. Ross enjoyed the fish swimming right up next to him and said that they liked to be with him. I think the kids learned a fair amount and had fun learning it.

BIG SISTER

Annalina has finially found the enjoyment of reading and that makes me very happy. She is reading Carson one of his baby books. He enjoyed it for a little and then was ready to move around again!

Roaring Camp Railroad Trip Through the Redwoods Cont.

We had one stop on our train trip at Bear Mountain (which is the sign you can't read by the kids where they are all sitting together). The kids enjoyed getting off the train and climbing on a tree. It was a fun trip. We all hope to do again.

Theo, thanks for the idea off your blog of taking pictures of your tickets. I have a record of the tickets but don't have to hold unto them anymore! Great idea!

Roaring Camp Railroad Trip Through the Redwoods

Two Saturdays ago we went for a train ride through the Redwoods. It was the PERFECT day for an open top train ride with a sunny day and hardly a cloud in the sky. We all really enjoyed the trip and it was very nice that Grandma J was with us too!

Too Cute

Ross the Boss with Chunky Monkey. I looked at pictures yesterday of the kids meeting Carson in the hospital for the first time and Wow have the kids ever matured since then. I thought Annalina and Ross especially have lost those baby faces. Carson just had a well baby appt. he is about 90%. The doctor said he is going to be football player size and that he has a big brain which we see being very used! His newest thing is waving Hi or Bye and then pointing at you as if to say "This wave is going to YOU!" I have to get that on video tape!!!!

The Kids are Growing Up

Gabriel is 7 almost 8.
Annalina is 6.
Ross is 3.
Carson is almost 11 months.

Saturday Paddle Boating

The kids really enjoyed going out on this pond paddle boating. It was a beautiful sunny day. Grandma J helped by pushing Carson around in his stroller while we went afloat. There was an island in the pond that was a wildlife safety area. The kids really enjoyed seeing a pretty good sized turtle on a log and some big birds that had a similar look to King Fishers. Ross enjoyed being our navigator and steering and Gabriel peddled the majority of the time except to give Annalina a go at it. We'll be doing that again it was cheap, fun, and a great way to spend a sunny day!

What Kind of Counting is that?

My mom is here visiting right now and has helped out with teaching the kids. She was working with Ross the other day on counting and asked him to count something. She could tell he was goofing around when he started counting using random #'s. She said to him "What kind of counting is that?" Ross's reply was "Preschool counting". We thought that was histerical and true!
