Isaiah 61:10

Isaiah 61:10

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

A new favorite verse of mine.
What more can I or should I want in life than the gift I received from Christ of his garment of salvation and robe of righteousness.

Early Valentine's from a Sweet Little Valentine

I love sweets. I am careful how much I eat sweet treats but I do enjoy them! Recently, when Babe was taking the kids to swimming lessons they discovered a French bakery and picked out a fancy treat for me and enjoyed presenting me with it. Gabriel was able to see the prices of things in the bakery and that he could afford to purchase things there. (He has made comments in recent months when he hears I like something "If I had enough money I would buy it for you") On their way out to swimming lessons today Gabriel turned around and pleaded with me to go back inside to get something but I was firm that he couldn't go back in, it was getting late and I saw that he was REALLY disappointed but headed to the van. Babe called me on his cell phone and told me that Gabriel wanted to buy me a cookie at the special bakery and had wanted his money. Daddy loaned him the money and he bought be a beautiful heart shaped cookie with a hole cut in the middle with raspberry filling filling it and it was sprinked with powdered sugar. It was beautiful and just about made me cry. Gabriel made sure that he paid his Daddy back when he got home and gave me 5 cents just because. He is just so sweet and thoughtful. I really needed that today. He is a gem as are the rest of them. Gabriel today was telling me today I was a good Mommy. By the way, I don't write this for those that read this blog because I think I deserve this . . . no, no I just treasure their love and want to remember things like this. This is my journal of Mommyhood.

Annalana told me the other day if someone else offered to be her mother she would say "No way!"
